Professional informations
Frédérique Fortin joined PFD Avocats as a student for the summer of 2019, and then completed her Bar School articling period. She has been practicing as an associate with the firm since her call to the Quebec Bar in November 2020.
Ms. Fortin holds a law degree from the Université de Montréal. During her time at the faculty, she interned for nearly two years with a community organization focused on legal aid. Her pronounced and sustained commitment to her academic success enabled her to be selected to study at the University of Costa Rica in San José in the summer of 2018. This experience allowed her to enrich her knowledge of human, environmental and health law.
Ms. Fortin devotes her practice to family, youth and estate law.
Social involvement
Ms. Fortin is involved in a number of non-profit organizations, including the Jeune Barreau Laurentides Lanaudière, where she is Vice-President.
