Étienne Morin is the managing partner of the firm.

Student and articling student at PFD, Mr. Morin was admitted to the Quebec Bar in 1999. He has been practicing labor law since he was admitted to the bar. He advises and represents both individual and collective employers on all matters relating to labor relations and occupational health and safety.

Mr. Morin drafts and negotiates individual employment contracts, collective agreements, termination agreements, internal policies and employee handbooks. He represents his clients before all administrative bodies, including the Commission des normes, de l’équité, de la santé et de la sécurité du travail (CNESST), the Tribunal administratif du travail (TAT), the Division de la santé et de la sécurité du travail (formerly the CLP) and the Division des relations de travail (formerly the CRT), the Conseil canadien des relations industrielles (CCRI), arbitration tribunals, and the courts of all jurisdictions.

Mr. Morin’s approach is based on pragmatism and rigor, and he constantly looks out for the client’s best interests in the overall context of employee relations. His clientele is made up of companies of all sizes, as well as several organizations in the municipal, health and social services network.

Mr. Morin conducts conferences and training courses for various organizations, and above all to his clients. He has contributed to a number of specialized journals on topics of interest in labor and municipal law.
