Louis-Philippe Desjardins

Louis-Philippe practices business law with specialized expertise in mergers and acquisitions, business succession planning, corporate financing, and franchising. He provides strategic counsel to a diverse client base, ranging from small and medium-sized businesses to multinational corporations, financial institutions, and investment funds, operating across a wide array of industries. He also advises companies on lobbying strategies, regulatory compliance, and building relationships with public office holders.

Before joining PFD Lawyers, Louis-Philippe spent several years practicing at a leading international law firm, where he was involved in high-profile and complex transactions. His work in business law and mergers and acquisitions has been recognized by his peers in Best Lawyers in 2023 and 2024.

On the academic front, Louis-Philippe is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at Université Laval to deepen his understanding of the business world and corporate management. He holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from Université de Sherbrooke, where he excelled academically, earning a place on the Dean’s Honor List and receiving multiple scholarships.
