Thierry Lefebvre

Thierry Lefebvre obtained his Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from the Université de Montréal in 2003. In 2004, he obtained a Diplôme d’étude notariale (D.D.N.) from the same university. Unusually, he was part of the first class to study in the People’s Republic of China, obtaining a Certificate of Chinese Law from Beijing University in 2002. He was sworn in by the Chambre des notaires du Québec in 2005.

Since being sworn in, Mr. Lefebvre has been practising with Lefebvre Lefebvre Théorêt Notaires, a firm founded by his father, François Lefebvre, in 1979.

Specializing in real estate law, hypothec security and contract drafting, Mr. Lefebvre assists clients with complex financing arrangements with banking institutions and private lenders. In particular, Mr. Lefebvre is instructed by banks to assist clients of all sizes with their acquisition and financing projects. His approach is characterised by his ability to quickly assess and understand client’s needs, and to provide effective support tailored to their specific situation.
