Professional informations

Since his admission to the Quebec Bar in 2000, Me Quenneville has developed expertise in public law, particularly in environmental law, telecommunications law and constitutional law.

Acting as a legal advisor as much as a litigator, he has been involved in several major files in municipal, administrative and constitutional law. In this capacity, he has had the opportunity to make representations before all courts, including the Supreme Court of Canada in Lacombe v. Quebec (PG) (aeronautics), Rogers Communications inc c. Châteauguay (telecommunications) and MediaQMI v. Kamel (media law). He was also one of the attorneys representing the Barreau du Québec before the Supreme Court of Canada in the Reference re the Securities Act (2011) in addition to having intervened in several files at the authorization stage of appeal to the Supreme Court. Finally, he acted in several legal cases as counsel, dealing with regulatory or constitutional aspects.

Social involvement

From September 2011 to June 2013, Me Quenneville was a member of the Liaison Committee of the Canadian Bar with the Supreme Court of Canada. This committee is responsible for discussing with Supreme Court justices and senior court officials improvements that can be made to the operation of the Supreme Court of Canada.

In 2013, due to his professional accomplishments, the Canadian magazine LEXPERT® named him one of the best Canadian lawyers of his generation by granting him the mention "Lawyer to Watch". He was nominated by his peers to be part of the last two editions of Best Lawyers in Canada (2021 and 2022), for his practice in administrative law and public law.
