Jean-Philippe Desabrais joined PFD Construction since 2011 when he was called to the Quebec Bar. Mr. Desabrais received his law degree from Université de Montréal in 2010, after obtaining his Bachelor of Business Administration from H.E.C. Montréal in 2007.
His practice includes construction law, real estate law, co-ownership, real estate security and civil and commercial litigation.

Social involvement
Active in his community, Me Jean-Philippe Desabrais is particularly involved in the following organizations:
- Member of the Board of Directors of the Laurentides-Lanaudière Bar Association since 2019;
- Member of the Liaison Committee of the Court of Quebec, Terrebonne District, since 2016;
- Member of the Table de concertation nationale en matière de petites créances since 2017;
- Thérèse-de Blainville Chamber of Commerce and Industry;
- Quebec General Contractors Corporation.
In the past, he has also held the following positions with various organizations:
- Participation in the creation of video vignettes in collaboration with Télévision des Basses-Laurentides (TVBL) to disseminate legal information to citizens;
- President of the Board of Directors of the Youth Wing of the Thérèse-de Blainville Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCITB) from 2018 to 2020;
- Member of the Board of Directors of the Thérèse-de Blainville Chamber of Commerce and Industry from 2015 to 2020 (CCITB);
- Director of Les Bâtisseurs committee (Youth Wing of the CCITB), aimed at promoting entrepreneurship among young people (television program broadcast on MaTV);
- Director of Resto-Pop de Thérèse-de Blainville from 2017 to 2019.
