Called to the Québec Bar in 2008, Mtre Chaussé joined the commercial and corporate law group at Prévost Fortin D’Aoust in 2010. He specializes in negotiating and drafting business agreements (distribution, agencies, franchises, commercial leases, shareholder agreements, etc.) and is often called upon in corporate mergers and acquisitions. He works as a senior advisor and in a support capacity on major mandates.
Francis Chaussé also provides guidance on regulatory compliance for clients seeking to market and promote products and services, specifically with regard to the obligations prescribed by the Consumer Protection Act and the rules that govern promotional contests. In addition, he has developed particular expertise in the incorporation, organization and registration of non-profits, foundations and charitable organizations.
