Admitted to the Quebec Bar in 2020, Émilie Paquin joined the Prévost Fortin D’Aoust team in the fall of 2025. Passionate about debate and rhetoric, Ms. Paquin works primarily in civil litigation and municipal law, which has led her to plead before various judicial bodies.
During her time at the Faculty of Law of the University of Montreal, Ms. Paquin was involved in several areas, notably as director of the student newspaper and organizer of orientation activities. She is also a recipient of the Governor General’s Academic Medal for 2012.
Curious and thorough, Ms. Paquin knows how to successfully handle any case entrusted to her, proposing appropriate alternatives and keeping the client’s interests in mind at every stage of the case. Above all, her dynamism makes her a committed and appreciated lawyer, both among her clients and various players in the legal community.
Ms. Paquin has been heavily involved in Le Pigeon Dissident, the student newspaper of the Faculty of Law of the University of Montreal, starting first as a web columnist, then as web content manager, and finally as editor-in-chief of the newspaper. In addition, Ms. Paquin participates in numerous activities and fundraisers to support the non-profit organization Cystic Fibrosis Canada.
