Ms. Eloïse Pion has been a member of the Prévost Fortin D’Aoust team since May 2009, where she first worked as a paralegal and as a law student while pursuing her university studies. Ms. Pion completed her law degree at the Université de Montréal, where she was named to the Dean’s Honor Roll for academic excellence.

She then completed her Bar School articling period with the PFD team. Ms. Pion has been practicing as an associate with the firm since her admission to the Quebec Bar in 2014, and became one of the firm’s partners in 2022.

Mr. Pion’s practice focuses mainly on family law (divorce, child custody, alimony, property division, etc.), succession disputes (will verification or contestation, change of liquidator, etc.), protective supervision disputes (approval of a protection mandate, opening of a tutorship, rendering of accounts, etc.) and advice on surrogacy arrangement.

In particular, Ms. Pion is called upon to make representations before the Superior Court and the Court of Appeal. Whenever possible, she prefers to negotiate out-of-court settlements, in order to find the quickest and most costly effective solution for her clients.

Mr. Pion has lectured on family law and has written various articles on topical issues in this area of law.

Mr. Pion is a member of the Association des avocats et avocates en droit familial du Québec and chairs the Board of Directors of the Grands Frères Grandes Sœurs de la Porte du Nord.
