Mtre. Désorcy graduated with honours from the University of Ottawa (LL.L magna cum laude, 2008) and went on to article at a major multidisciplinary firm in Montréal before being admitted to the Québec Bar in 2009. After her first year of practice, she joined Prévost Fortin D’Aoust in December 2010 and has since focused her career on real estate and construction law.

Kathleen advises and represents construction industry stakeholders, including clients such as public entities, contractors, sub-contractors and materials suppliers, before the courts. She is often involved in major construction mandates to review calls for bids, draft contracts and legal opinions and counsel clients on construction project claims and their rights and obligations in matters involving legal hypothecs and surety contracts.
