Robert Faguy obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science (Honours) in 1986 and both a Common Law and Civil Law Degree from McGill University in 1991.
He has been practicing commercial litigation and counseling financial institutions as well as small and medium enterprises since his call to the Bar in 1992.
Over the years, Robert has successfully represented various interests in litigation proceedings on behalf of plaintiffs and defendants, in matters relating to shareholder claims and disputes, secured and unsecured debt enforcement, bankruptcy and insolvency and general commercial litigation.
Robert's practice also extends to commercial transactions, representing and counseling clients in corporate acquisitions, corporate reorganization and restructuring, and property acquisitions among various business concerns.
In acting as a professional adviser with respect to a broad range of legal concerns, Robert has the experience and expertise to ensure practical and effective solutions to the many legal challenges which confront businesses today.
Robert has given numerous seminars and conferences on a wide range of topics and has been actively involved with various business associations, notably in the sporting goods and apparel industries, counseling manufacturers and distributors throughout Canada.
