Mr. Ramy Amine holds a Bachelor of Laws form the University of Ottawa, where he graduated with honours (LL.L. cum laude). During his studies, he was named to the Dean's Honour List in recognition of his academic achievements. In 2017, Mr. Amine also obtained his Juris Doctor (J.D. National Program) from the University of Ottawa.
During his studies, Mr. Amine was part of a team that represented the University of Ottawa in the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition. While in the National Program, Mr. Amine won second place in the Norton Rose Fulbright Moot Competition that is held every year within the J.D.
Mr. Amine worked as a political staffer for a federal Member of Parliament after the 2015 federal election. While working in Parliament, his role consisted of being a legislative assistant to the Member and worked on the analysis of Government Bills.
Mr. Amine joined Prévost Fortin D'Aoust as a student-at-law in May 2017. Mr. Amine is bilingual and can practice in both French and English.
