Me Marc-André Nadon joined the PFD team in May 2015 and practices in the fields of civil and commercial litigation, intellectual property as well as media and communications law. Before joining the firm, he practiced in these same fields for more than 7 years for an international firm.
His practice covers all aspects of litigation including the drafting of legal opinions, the drafting of procedures as well as the representation before the courts of various instances. He also intervenes in extraordinary procedures such as injunctions. Me Nadon represents her clients before the Superior Court, the Court of Appeal of Quebec, the Federal Court and the Supreme Court of Canada. He also pleads before administrative tribunals such as the Trade-marks Opposition Commission and the Administrative Tribunal of Quebec.
His practice in commercial litigation leads him to deal with complex commercial disputes between shareholders and between companies. Me Nadon has also acquired significant experience in oppression recourse.
In the context of his practice in media and communications law, Me Nadon represents the main news medias in Quebec, among others, in defamation proceedings and complex procedures involving publication bans , eight closed and sealed.
In addition, he advises companies on the management and content of their communications on the internet and on social media.
As part of his trademark practice, Me Nadon assists his clients in all stages of the adoption, registration and management of trademarks. He advises them on the choice and adoption of new trademarks with regard to their availability and use.
A versatile lawyer and passionate litigator, Me Nadon sometimes acts as a strategic advisor to clients to examine with them various business issues and even to revise certain commercial agreements. He favors a pragmatic and proactive approach, focused on the business interests of clients, all based on risks and legal issues.

Me Nadon is a member of the Advocates In Defence of Expression in Media (Ad IDEM/CMLA). It is a canada-wide association of lawyers as well as other professionals which work in the field of media.
Mtre Nadon tought constitutional law at the University of Montréal as the primary lecturer/speaker for the course Libertés publiques (DRT 3503).
Me Nadon is also passionate about classical music and is a director of the Orchestre symphonique de Laval (OSL).
