In 2010, Mtre Caroline Lavoie earned a law degree from Université de Sherbrooke, where she worked pro bono for an organization that supports family members caring for people with physical and intellectual disabilities. She also represented the faculty of law of Université de Sherbrooke at a national moot.
After attending the Québec Bar School, Mtre Lavoie articled in a multidisciplinary Canadian firm. In October 2011, she joined Prévost Fortin D'Aoust, where she mainly practices bank and civil law.
Mtre Lavoie is often called upon to provide legal opinions, write procedures and represent financial institutions before Québec courts.
