Professional informations

Ms. Taddeo holds a law degree from the Université du Québec à Montréal. She articled with a multidisciplinary firm and then practiced with the firm for over two years in various areas of law, with a particular focus on family law, youth protection, estates and traffic offenses.

In October 2017, Ms. Taddeo joined the forces of the PFD team, where she now practices in the areas of family law, youth protection and estate law. Ms. Taddeo has quickly integrated herself into the team and has distinguished herself through her hard work, rigor, and desire to go above and beyond for her clients. Fluently bilingual, Ms. Taddeo regularly pleads before both the Superior Court and the Chambre de la jeunesse, and knows how to stand out among peers.

As a result of her efforts and exemplary work ethic, Amanda Taddeo became a partner in the firm in 2024.

Social involvement

Active in her community, Amanda Taddeo served on the Board of Directors of the Association du Jeune Barreau Laurentides-Lanaudière for seven (7) years, and was appointed as President in 2021. In 2023, after one term as outgoing president, she stepped down to pursue new challenges. Since 2018, Ms. Taddeo has also been involved in the Chamber of Commerce and the mill industry, as well as the children’s foundation À deux pas de la recherche. At the beginning of her practice, Ms. Taddeo also gave information sessions on small claims. Currently, Ms. Taddeo would like to devote more time to mentoring young lawyers at PFD to help them achieve their goals.
