Mtre. Jean-François Carrier holds a Bachelor of Laws from Université de Sherbrooke (cooperative path) and graduated on the dean's honour list with distinction.
As a law student, he carried out three internships in a major international company. He chiefly focused on labour law and issues including individual and collective labour relations and industrial accidents.
Mtre. Carrier joined Prévost Fortin D'Aoust in January 2017 to complete his articling as part of the Bar admission course of the École du Barreau. Since being admitted to the Québec Bar in July 2017, Jean-François has focused his practice on commercial law, including litigation. He is also involved in mandates on points of consumer and competition law.
Since May 2017, he has been a member of the board of directors of ENvironnement JEUnesse (ENJEU), an organization that builds awareness of environmental issues among young people and provides green certifications for daycare centres and colleges across Québec.
