Mtre. Axel Fournier holds a Bachelor of Laws from Université de Montréal and graduated on the dean's list with distinction. He is currently enrolled in a master's program. His thesis analyzes the legislative impacts of provincial inquiries on matters relating to integrity.
Before joining Prévost Fortin D'Aoust as a law student in September 2016, Mr. Fournier worked as a research assistant to two professors at Université de Montréal: Martine Valois (administrative and constitutional law) and Jean Hétu (municipal law and history of the faculty of law).
Very involved in his community, Mtre. Fournier has been a member of the urban planning advisory committee of the city of Varennes since 2013. He also works to promote public transit as the spokesman for the Association pour le transport collectif de la Rive-Sud transit user group.
